Our Team

Breast Imaging:
	June Chen, M.D., Director. Orange Women’s Center proudly introduces our new Medical Director, Dr. June W. Chen. Dr. Chen comes to us with an extensive background in Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology.
	Charles Aucreman, M.D. Dr. Aucreman is a dedicated radiologist sub-specializing in the diagnosis of breast cancer. He was one of the first radiologists in the United States to incorporate Stereotactic Breast Biopsy into his practice.
	Verna Tiegs, M.D. Verna Tiegs, M.D., was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She received her B.S. in Biology at DePaul University, and then attended The University of Illinois Medical School, where she received her M.D.
	Yuri Parisky, M.D. Dr. Yuri Parisky is a Diagnostic Radiologist, specializing in Cancer Imaging. Former Associate Professor and Director of Breast Imaging at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Currently Medical Director of the Department of Medical Imaging for Mammoth Hospital in Mammoth Lakes, California,
	Dr. Stuart A. Souders. Dr. Stuart A. Souders is a board certified radiologist dedicated to breast imaging. He is a “Cornhusker”, born and raised in Nebraska. He was graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in zoology. He received his M. D. degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
	Azita Behrashi, M.D. Azita Behrashi, M.D., is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She is fellowship trained in Breast and Thoracic Imaging as well as in MRI. She is a dedicated radiologist who is sub specialized in the diagnosis of breast cancer.
Surgery :
	John West, M.D., Director A general surgeon by training, Dr. West became fascinated with the multidisciplinary team approach to breast cancer care in the mid 1980’s.
	Helen Mabry , MD. Dr. Helen Mabry is a breast fellowship trained, board certified breast surgeon who specializes in Oncoplastic techniques for breast conservation, sentinel node biopsy, skin and nipple sparing mastectomies with immediate reconstruction for the treatment of DCIS and invasive breast cancer.
	Lisa Chan, PA-C Lisa Mika Chan, PA-C, joined the Breast Care and Imaging Center of Orange County in the Fall of 2007. Shortly thereafter, Lisa assumed directorship of the High-Risk Breast Cancer Genetic Screening Program
Oncology :
	John Link, M.D. John Link is recognized as one of the foremost breast cancer doctors in the world. He actively practices at Breastlink, the comprehensive breast cancer group he founded in 1995.
	James Waisman, M.D. Dr James Waisman is one of the pre-eminent breast oncologists in the United States. Trained as a medical oncologist, he began to sub-specialize in breast cancer in the mid-1980s at the Van Nuys Breast Center in Los Angeles.
	Donna Valentine, PA-C Unlike many of my colleagues I hadn’t always dreamed of working in medicine. My realization came after working in retail management and marketing for 10 years.
Patient Education
	Jan West, RN I remember first hearing the word cancer when I was nine years old. In hushed tones the family was discussing grandma's experience with breast cancer. It was a "secret".
Patient support services
	Ginny Pepin No one in the world would ever think that having breast cancer would make your life better. In my case this is true. I was diagnosed in 1988; just two months before the Breast Care Center of Orange was established and opened.

Cordelia Knott Center for Wellness
	Shirley Moretti Shirley Moretti, at the age of 59, had her first mammogram and was diagnosed with cancer in both breasts. She elected to undergo bi-lateral mastectomies with immediate reconstruction after completing her eight month chemotherapy regiment.
	Jean Sedbrook At the age of 43, Jean Sedbrook, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Married and a mother of three, Jean decided upon a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction and underwent six months of chemotherapy.

	Shu Liao, M.D. Graduated from National Taiwan University Medical School , completed anatomical and clinical pathology training program at University of Massachusetts affiliated Hospital and at UCI.
Complimentary Medicine:
	Jean Li, M.D. As a very sick child, I grew up with frequent encounters with doctors and treatments from both conventional western medicine, as well as the traditional Chinese Medicine. It was the Chinese Medicine that helped me the most on the path to becoming a healthy adult. I, therefore, have focused on taking the best from both disciplines and combine them in my medical training in both China and the U.S.
Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery:
	Ivan Turpin, M.D. Dr. Ivan M. Turpin is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been in private practice for over 25 years. Dr. Turpin grew up in Utah, earned his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Utah in 1971.
	Linda Zeineh, M.D. Dr. Linda L. Zeineh is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
