Azita Behrashi, M.D., is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She is fellowship trained in Breast and Thoracic Imaging as well as in MRI.  She is a dedicated radiologist who is sub specialized in the diagnosis of breast cancer. She completed post-graduate fellowship training in breast and thoracic imaging at UCLA, under the tutelage of Dr. Lawrence Bassett. She also completed an MRI fellowship at University of California, Irvine. She has a strong background in breast MRI and MRI guided biopsy.

Dr. Behrashi is a member of the American College of Radiology as well as the Radiologic Society of North America. Prior to joining the Breast Cared and Imaging Center of Orange County, she served as the Medical Director of the women’s imaging at Orange County Diagnostics.

Dr. Behrashi continues to serve as a voluntary faculty member at the Iris Cantor Breast center at UCLA and enjoys teaching and working with residents and fellows.

She lives in Orange County with her husband, who is a practicing radiologist in Orange County.
Her hobbies include attending aerobic classes, gardening and reading.
