Dr. Justin West was born and raised in Orange, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pomona College in Claremont, California, followed by his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then attended the six year integrated residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. There he received extensive training in the latest techniques for breast reconstruction including use of acellular dermal matrices, autologous fat grafting and DIEP flaps.

After residency, Dr. West pursued an additional year of fellowship training at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. During this year he received advanced training in both surgical and noninvasive procedures of the face, breasts, and body.

Dr. Justin West is the son of Dr. John G. West, Surgical Director of Breastlink at the Breast Care and Imaging Center, and Jan West, RN, Director of the center’s Early Detection programs. With the addition of Dr. Justin West as the Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Breastlink will now offer on-site consultations for all breast cancer patients. Dr. West also has a cosmetic surgery practice located in an office adjacent to the Orange facility where he offers both surgical and non-invasive procedures of the face, breast, and body.
